In order to promote interaction and exchange between PhD students and Postdocs within the Materials and Processes community at ETH, several new MaP initatives were launched.

These events are co-organized by MaP and an interdisciplinary committee of PhD students and Postdocs from the MaP community. Please us if you would like to receive further information and if you would like to participate in our activities!

MaP Junior Sandbox

The Junior Sandbox is a guided brainstorming event with the goal to generate collaborative project ideas to tackle the Grand Challenges in Materials and Processes. We aim to provide a creative and inspiring platform for exchange and networking for Postdocs and advanced PhD Students across all scientific disciplines. By using design thinking approaches, promising project ideas are developed which may receive financial support through the ETH Career Seed Grant programme.
